I’m Sandy and I help teens and adults just like you: ones that have it within them to be happy and confident but just need the support to get there.

 

I help my clients find hope and a sense of peace by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand themselves in order to live their best lives.

 

Many of today’s solutions for anxiety and depression involve talking endlessly about your problems without ever really finding solutions, This leads so many to feel hopeless and to feel like therapy doesn’t work. I know that your circumstances are unique, so I will involve you in the process of setting goals and putting systems in place to see that you are successful.

 

First, we examine your current situation and any stressors that are impacting your mood or causing anxiety Then, we work on behavioral changes or changes in your thoughts that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll have the skills and confidence you need to manage challenges in your life as they occur.

My training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Compassion Focused Therapy means I have the expertise you need and deserve when learning to work through your day-to-day struggles. I get it because I have had some difficult moments in my life. I know what it is like to put a smile on your face and go through the motions. I know that sometimes you just want to give up. I also know what it's like to come through it and take off the mask. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist.
