  • What is a typical session like?

    Whether you decide to meet in person or online, we begin with your concerns and changes from the previous week. Then you choose the focus for the session.  I use a variety of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Compassion Therapy to assist you, For those who would like to proceed more rapidly through therapy, additional work and resources can be provided at the end of each session. 


  • How long do I need to be in therapy?

    While anxiety and depression are common and highly treatable, the length a client is in therapy will vary. We will begin with weekly sessions. As progress continues we move to bi-weekly and then monthly sessions until you feel confident  again.

  • What if I want to use insurance?

    I am currently accepting Medicaid. If you have another insurance and have the ability to receive services out of network please feel free to reach out to me. I can send you a form with questions to ask your insurance company and provide you a superbill for billing purposes.
